Hello My name is Madeleine Dina and I am a digital artist and illustrator based in Atlanta Georgia. I've spent my whole life in Georgia and it has influenced my work greatly. Visiting the High museum and going to art festivals with my family are some of my fondest memories. I’ve always known that I loved making art. The feeling of finishing a drawing was always a great accomplishment and I would feel so proud showing my finished drawings to my friends and family. I grew up drawing brightly colored animals and gradually transitioned into drawing humans. I have always experimented with drawing fantasy subjects.
My grandmother was one of my first introductions to art. She is a traditional oil painter with most of her subjects being landscapes. Although I always appreciated her talents, I always felt like art could explore more than what the real world has to offer. This can be reflected in what I create, being a mix of both fantasy and reality.
Today, I create beautiful illustrations based on the things in my life that inspire me, with a twist of my own imagination. I enjoy depicting scenes of nature as living in the city has made me further appreciate it. Most of my subjects are ethereal or otherworldly women as I have always appreciated the aesthetic of hyper femininity. I would describe my work as painterly but with refined linework. To this day, I still experiment with my style and subject matter.
I hope that my audience can appreciate the beauty of the scenes I create and can feel inspired through my work.
